Why it stays with you
'There are views you can only get at this height' — that one line really is the whole of it. From the Tembo Deck you can see as far as Mt. Fuji on a clear day, and the Tembo Galleria above it is built as a walkway through the air, a 360-degree view whose character changes as time passes and as you move along it. You don't just go up and stop; the view shifts while you walk, and that's the difference from other observation decks. Hours are wide: 8:00 to 22:30 (last entry 21:30). The Tembo Deck is from ¥1,800 for adults, and a combined deck-and-galleria ticket from ¥3,000 for adults. Decide before you buy — daytime if it's clear, late if you want the night view.
