Why it stays with you
The draw is Tokyo City View, the observation deck on the 52nd floor of Mori Tower. Seeing once, from high up, how far Tokyo spreads makes it much easier to place yourself when you're back down at street level — which is why it's worth building in early in a stay. Go up before the sun sets: you get the city in daylight and then the city once the lights come on, one straight after the other. It stays open into the evening, but both the hours and the prices are written as varying by season, so check the day's times and prices before you head over.
